- Graeme Souness thinks Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah will leave Liverpool
- Virgil van Dijk will extend his contract and continue playing for the team.
- This defender is important for the “Reds”.
Former liverpool player and manager Graeme Souness believes Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah will leave the Reds, while Virgil van Dijk is likely to stay.
Souness said: “The worry for Liverpool fans is that three of their key players, who have proven themselves over the years, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mo Salah and Virgil van Dijk, are out of contract this summer. Christmas is less than two months away and in January they can speak to other clubs and agree pre-contracts.
“I can assure you Liverpool will have spoken to their representatives and now will know what they are going to do in the future. I would imagine all three of them will have made up their minds about what their plans are after the end of the ยูฟ่าเบท season.”
“Trent seems to have a connection with Bellingham at Real Madrid. Would I be surprised if he went there? No, because it was an opportunity that was too good to turn down. Would I be surprised if Virgil stayed? No, he’s one of the three I think is most likely to stay because he’s not someone who’s trying to cash in on the money at the end of his career. And at Liverpool right now. He’s the perfect Rolls Royce. He looks like he’s playing elegantly without being as fast as other sports cars.”
“Would it surprise me if Salah stayed? A little bit, because I think it would be very attractive to him as an Egyptian and as a Muslim to earn a lot of money in Saudi Arabia in the next three or four years. It is the birthplace of Islam and a country with a maritime border, his home country.”
